BizEmpire is a free, browser-based tycoon simulation game where you run a small empire of fictional businesses across a single-screen city map. Pick a shell — Old Van, Garage, Office, Corner Unit, Land, Warehouse — drop a business into it, ride the news cycle for sector buffs, and grow from a $1,000 starter wallet into a paper-millionaire operator who has their own personal in-game coin on the leaderboard. No installs, no downloads, no sign-up gates — just a tab and a single-page idle simulator that runs in any modern browser.

You moved into the city with $1,000 in your pocket and a beat-up van your grandmother left you. Rent is due in seven game-days. Every storefront on the block has a "For Lease" sign, the morning paper is full of trend stories you can ride, and the neighbourhood mansion society holds a charity gala on Friday. You're not in it for the money — you're in it for the headline that says "Dreamer reaches Magnate in one season." Every level you climb gets you a new title, a new outfit slot, and one decision closer to founding your own namesake coin and watching it trade on the city's exchange.

BizEmpire is a single-screen, tab-driven idle business simulator with a light social-status meta. The genre is tycoon idler with strategic depth: tapping, focus-picking, and perk-installing matter more than reflex. The setting is a stylised modern city run on a compressed 1:72 clock (one in-game day = 72 real seconds), with a seven-channel newsroom, four kinds of weekly events, a research lab that drips new content into the game, and a wardrobe meter that gates social-event entry. Six tabs (Map, Business, Look, News, Lab, Assets, plus Events and the Lvl-18 Crypto Exchange) all share one wallet, one reputation score, one prestige tier, and one personal coin price on the in-game leaderboard.

• Six asset shells, eighteen business types — Pick a Van, Garage, Office, Corner Unit, Land Plot, or Warehouse, then choose one of three business types per shell for a unique 6-card grid no two players will share.
• A live newsroom that moves your income — Seven news categories (Economy, Politics, Cultural, Natural, Technology, Health, plus Weather) buff or debuff specific sectors. Match your business focus to the trending sector and your $/sec climbs.
• Weekly social calendar — Four event categories (Business, Social, Exclusive, Family) cycle weekly, with success chance you can raise by levelling, dressing up in the right outfit kit, and hiring marketing experts for a better forecast.
• A Research Lab that ships real content — Five-phase cycles deliver new businesses, focuses, perks, events, fashion items, and assets straight into your game. Fund it harder for faster cycles; the lab also gets distracted in funny ways when you underpay.
• A 20-tier prestige meter — Wardrobe + assets stack into a social rank from Nobody to Legend, gating the higher-end events.
• Found your own coin at Lvl 18 — Pick a 3–4 letter ticker, pick an icon, and your reputation drives the coin's price on the leaderboard alongside 49 bot coins. No real-money component: the leaderboard is the trophy.
• Browser-native — Loads in any modern browser. No installs, no account required, mobile-friendly portrait layout.

Desktop — left mouse click to tap a business, click & drag to scroll the dashboard, click any tab in the side rail to switch screens. Mobile — single-tap for everything; swipe vertically to scroll a tab; long-press an asset card to open its detail row. Keyboard — "Tab" cycles focus through interactive elements, "Enter" confirms the focused control, "Esc" closes any open modal. There is no gamepad input and no required audio.

You level up by tapping (+1 XP per tap), upgrading businesses (+5×level XP), picking a focus (+10 XP), installing a perk (+15 XP), and winning events (+25 XP per win). Each level doubles the XP requirement for the next, so the climb from Lvl 1 to Lvl 5 is fast and the climb from Lvl 15 to Lvl 20 is the deliberate grind that gates the Crypto Exchange unlock. Twenty named titles run from "Dreamer" to "Business Minded"; the Prestige meter runs in parallel from "Nobody" to "Legend" across twenty social-rank tiers based on what you wear and own.

• Read the news first, pick a focus second. Sector buffs stack; a Beverages-trending news week with a Beverages-focused Food Truck can hit +25% income on top of weather and event boosts.
• Don't fight the cooldown — lease it out. When a business hits its tap cap, switch to a different slot. Slots with the "Good Lease" perk earn a steady stream you don't have to baby.
• Fund the Research Lab even at the "low" tier. Free or "low" funding pays for itself in two cycles because every cycle delivers a new business type, focus, perk, event, fashion item, or asset — content compounds faster than cash.
• The Wardrobe is real progression, not flavour. Equip prestige pieces before opening an Exclusive-tier event; the gate is prestige-based and unequipping a shirt before a Gala can cost you the entry.
• Hire one marketing expert per news category as soon as the Lab lets you. Without experts, your event success-chance forecast is up to 60% noisier — you'll spend boosters you didn't need.
• Save boosters for events that matter. The "Lock Success" booster guarantees the win at the cost of one ⚡; use it on Charity Gala-tier events where the reputation reward is worth it.
• Once you found your coin at Lvl 18, reputation becomes the only thing that matters. Every event you attend is a price-pump for your coin on the leaderboard.
BizEmpire is for players who liked idle clickers like AdVenture Capitalist and Adventure Communist but wanted more decisions per session — focus picks, event entries, perk choices, prestige juggling. It's for fans of business-themed simulation games who don't want a spreadsheet, and for casual session players who want something that respects a 5-minute coffee break and a 90-minute deep-dive equally. There is no twitch reflex requirement, no PvP, and no real-money pressure. The audience is 13+.

BizEmpire feels like reading the morning paper, picking an outfit, and walking out into the city. The pace is intentionally slow — 72 real seconds is one in-game day — so the game rewards thinking over tapping. Visually it's flat 2D with soft shading, warm gold and ambers, no neon, no photoreal textures. Audio is optional: the gameplay reads silently and there are no sound-gated mechanics. The game runs on a hand-rolled vanilla-JS engine inside a single HTML page — no Unity, no Phaser, no large runtime download — so it loads under two seconds on most connections and sustains a steady 60 FPS even on entry-level laptops and mid-tier phones.

Saves — Your progress lives locally in your browser under the
key cb_v3. There is no cloud sync in this build, so clearing
browser data, switching browsers, or playing in a private window
resets your run. The PlayGams platform is in beta: balances
and progress may be adjusted, reset, or invalidated as the
platform stabilises. Treat your run as fun, not as a long-term
investment.
Performance — The simulation runs on a 1 Hz logic tick (one real second per game second) with a 60 FPS render loop and a small memory footprint. Modern browsers throttle background tabs to roughly 1 Hz, so income still accrues while the tab is in the background or the window is minimised — with slight drift, not a full freeze. Fully closing the tab stops the simulation: there is no offline catch-up by design, only the partial background trickle.
Online limits — Per-session online earnings are capped to keep the leaderboard fair across browsers and devices. The cap is a platform-tunable parameter, not a fixed contract, so the exact number can be adjusted at any time as the live economy matures.
Player data exchange — Some in-game mechanics (events, news ticker, certain markets) trade light-weight gameplay signals between players in the same session so the world reacts to the crowd. No personal data is involved — only opt-in gameplay events scoped to the current run.

The Hook — Every game-day you make at least five decisions that matter: which focus, which perk, which event, which asset, which research direction. None of them are wrong, but most of them are different from yesterday.

The Look — Flat warm 2D, no jump-scares, no flashing ads. Reads comfortably on a 13" laptop or a portrait phone.

Pro Tip — Don't chase the leaderboard until you've cleared Lvl 18. Reputation farming before crypto unlocks is wasted velocity; spend the early levels on prestige and asset stack.

The Challenge — The mid-game (Lvl 8 to 14) is intentionally slow. The trade is: every level after 18 feels earned because the slow stretch made you read the news and pick your fights.
Direct text, non-negotiable wording — derived from LEGAL.md §1 and the PlayGams Terms / Beta documents. Implementation note: render this block as a visually distinct call-out (e.g. bordered card, neutral background) and never collapse it inside a sub-accordion — the whole disclaimer must be visible as soon as the parent section is expanded.
Age rating — BizEmpire is intended for general audiences aged 13 and older, matching the PlayGams platform threshold. Players under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should play with the awareness of a parent or guardian.
Fictional simulation — BizEmpire is a free fictional simulation game for entertainment and educational purposes only. All in-game currencies, tokens (including BIZC), cash, assets, businesses, contracts, leases, loans, crypto, and trading mechanics are entirely fictional and exist only within the game. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, redeemed, sold, or transferred for real money or any thing of value.
No earnings, no gambling — The game does not offer any earnings, payouts, investments, financial products, lotteries, prize draws, games of chance, or gambling services. The in-game "Withdraw" button on the Crypto tab is a flavour element of the simulation — nothing leaves your account.
Not advice — Words like "earn", "buy", "sell", "trade", "invest", "withdraw", "loan", "real", and any other business terms are used in a purely simulated, training, and entertainment context. Nothing in the game is financial, investment, tax, legal, or business advice. Do not make real-world decisions based on anything you see in the game.
Beta caveat — The PlayGams platform is in beta. As the Beta notice states, balances, scores, levels, and other state may be adjusted, reset, recalibrated, or invalidated at any time as the platform stabilises. The game is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Content notes — The game contains no smoking, no alcohol, no violence, no sexual content, and no gambling content. The setting references business concepts (trading, leasing, contracts) in stylised form only; real-world equivalents are heavily simplified and not authoritative.
